We use a variety of different paints which all have different drying times that vary from thermo plastic which is dry within minutes of laying, single pack epoxy touch dry after around 5 minutes light traffic after around 20 minutes. methyl methacrylate (MMA) fully curd in up to 20 minutes.

No line marking can be carried out in any wet or damp conditions, materials will not bond with the surface if applied in these conditions. All surfaces must be dry before any line marking. Some different types of surfaces can be force dried with heat equipment.

The most common question we are asked upon quoting for a job, this will depend some factors for instance, what material is being applied, does the surface need any prep work, is the area clean and free from any obstacles and will the whole working area be available. If the chosen material is OPE or a sprayable material we can line 100's of metres per hour using our airless linelazer sprayers, when it comes to the methyl methacrylate all line markings require to be taped up prier to painting, Thermo plastic is almost instantly dry after applying making it practical for quick response jobs.
